What MentionAgent does
Blog prospecting and qualification
MentionAgent reads the customer's website, works out what it sells, and searches for blog posts that cover the same subject. Each domain is checked on authority and relevance before a draft is written, so the approval queue only holds sites worth pitching.
Editor contact lookup and verification
For every qualified post, MentionAgent finds the editor or author and verifies the address before sending. Verification keeps bounce rates low, which protects the sending domain's reputation.
Personalized pitch drafting
Each email is written against the specific article MentionAgent found, not filled into a template. The customer reads, edits or discards every draft before it goes out.
Sending domain, inbox and warmup
MentionAgent registers a sending domain for each customer, sets up a Gmail inbox on it and warms it up, all included in the plan. A new inbox sends 5 outreach emails a day in week one and reaches 40 a day in week four.
Follow-ups and reply handling
MentionAgent follows up on warm threads, tracks replies and drafts answers to editors, including the placement details once a deal is agreed. Replies land in the dashboard inbox, where the customer approves each answer.
MCP server and Claude skill
The MentionAgent MCP server lets a customer run draft review, replies and deal closing from Claude, Cursor or any MCP client. The open source Claude SEO skill wraps those tools into one outreach loop for Claude Code.

Priced by inbox, not by seat
BuzzStream's Growth plan is $124 a month for three users and its Professional plan is $299 for six. MentionAgent charges per sending inbox ($99, $179, $329 or $629 a month) and has no per-seat fees, so adding a teammate costs nothing.
A software price, not an agency retainer
A managed link building agency typically starts around $2,500 a month, and per-link services such as Respona's run $100 to $500 per placement. MentionAgent runs the same outreach workflow for $99 a month, and the customer keeps the final say on every email.
The customer owns the domain
The sending domain is bought for the customer's outreach, and MentionAgent transfers it to them free of charge on request, whether or not they are still subscribed. The only limit is ICANN's 60-day lock on newly registered domains.
