Distribb Review: Pricing, the ABC Backlink Exchange and Alternatives

Updated 18 October 2026 · Link Building · By Matt

Distribb is an AI SEO subscription that writes and publishes articles to your site and plugs you into a backlink exchange among its own users. Every price, rule and review below was checked at its source on 18 October 2026.

Verdict

Pro is $97 a month for 30 AI articles and 3 to 5 exchange links. The catch: links run three ways so that, in Distribb's words, Google can't spot the swap, and Google's spam policy lists excessive link exchanges.

Price: Pro $97 a month, or $79 billed yearly. Accelerator $495. Plans

Refunds: the terms call payments non-refundable. Details

Alternatives: MentionAgent (no swap), Arvow, RankPill. Compare

Our data

Sites that agreed a two-way link swap with a MentionAgent user had a median Ahrefs DR of 27. Only 7% were DR 60 or higher.

Accelerator$495 ($990 struck through)$399 a month ($4,788)90

The ABC backlink exchange

Distribb promises "3 to 5 contextual backlinks every month from real businesses in your niche", while "you give up to 5 links back through your own articles". It says the exchange runs on about five published articles a month on your site.

The links never run straight back: you link to one member, a different member links to you, and "a 3-month delay is enforced before any reverse path can open." The section's headline reads "Never a link swap Google can spot," because direct swaps "leave a reciprocal footprint search engines discount."

What Google's spam policy says

Google's spam policies define link spam as links made "primarily for the purpose of manipulating search rankings". Two of the listed examples:

  • "Excessive link exchanges ("Link to me and I'll link to you") or partner pages exclusively for the sake of cross-linking"
  • "Using automated programs or services to create links to your site"

The policy doesn't mention three-way routing. It judges a link by its purpose, and Distribb's case for the routing is that Google can't spot it. Distribb's FAQ says it keeps "rigorous quality controls and timing strategies to prevent link schemes".

Distribb reviews and refunds

On Trustpilot on 18 October 2026 Distribb scored 3.6 from 8 reviews: five 5-star, one 2-star and two 1-star. Distribb replied to all three negative ones.

  • October 2026 (2-star): a reviewer says it kept publishing irrelevant articles and linking to other sites whatever instructions they gave.
  • July 2026 (1-star): a buyer says the exchange got their site banned by Google and a refund was refused. Distribb replied that the review came from a competitor and that "We refund anyone."

These are individual accounts we haven't verified. The pricing page says "Cancel anytime. No questions asked!", while the terms say subscription payments "are non-refundable, except as expressly provided in these Terms or as required by applicable law."

Who really swaps links

Distribb's exchange page doesn't list its members' Domain Ratings. MentionAgent's records show who agrees a two-way swap by email: every site that agreed to link to a MentionAgent user for a link back, by Ahrefs DR.

Median DR 27. Whatever exchange you join, check the DR of each site that links to you.

Method: MentionAgent production records up to 18 October 2026, link-building workspaces only, two-way deals only, each domain counted once at the Ahrefs DR on file. Sites with no DR on file are left out.
