RankPill Review: $99 Price, Backlink Credits and the 90-Day Guarantee

Updated 18 October 2026 · Link Building · By Matt

RankPill is a $99-a-month AI writer that publishes an article to your site every day and trades links with other RankPill sites through a credit system. Everything below was checked on RankPill's pages on 18 October 2026.

Verdict

One $99 plan with 30 articles and 30 backlink credits a month. Read two things first: RankPill's exchange page prices each link at the linking site's DR in credits, and the 90-day guarantee doesn't pay if any one metric rises.

Reviews: 2.8 from 30 on Trustpilot, against "4.8/5 from 4,319+ customers" on its site. Details

Alternatives: MentionAgent (links not priced in credits), Distribb, Arvow. Compare

Our data

Among sites that answered a MentionAgent pitch with a price or a swap, 45% under DR 20 took the swap. At DR 60 and up, 7% did; the rest wanted money.

RankPill pricing

One plan, Business, at $99 a month, billed monthly: 30 articles a month (one a day, 3,000+ words) published to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and others, 30 backlink credits, a monthly site audit, and unlimited rewrites and team members.

How backlink credits work

The links come from RankPill's exchange: "Each article you publish carries an in-niche partner link, and yours lands in theirs." You set a minimum DR for sites that link to you.

The sample dashboard on that page states the price: "Each link costs credits equal to the referring site's Domain Rating." If that applies to the plan's 30 credits, they cover one link from a DR 30 site. The same page promises "a daily-publishing site can build 20-30 backlinks per month" without saying how the two fit together or what extra credits cost.

Sample dashboard on RankPill's backlink exchange page: 1,250 backlink credits available, a Get More Credits button, and an Earned Backlinks table captioned Each link costs credits equal to the referring site's Domain Rating, where every row's credits match its DR, for example DR 48 costs 48 credits
The sample dashboard on RankPill's backlink exchange page, 18 October 2026.

Credits also expire. The terms say they "are valid for the billing period they are issued for and do not roll over to the next one".

The 90-day guarantee and refunds

RankPill's refund policy (updated 7 October 2026) refunds a website's fees if it "shows no growth" after 90 days. Growth means a rise in any one of Search Console clicks, Search Console impressions or Ahrefs Domain Rating, comparing the last 28 days of the 90 with the 28 days before you paid: "If at least one of these metrics increased, the guarantee does not apply." A DR rise from exchange links alone ends a claim.

You must also stay subscribed all 90 days, publish every article the day it's ready and keep it live, and claim within 14 days with Search Console and DR evidence. A refund obliges you to remove every RankPill article.

Otherwise, "all payments are final, including the first payment", including unused periods, missed cancellations and "dissatisfaction with the quality, tone, style or SEO results of generated content". Billing errors, unauthorised charges and extended outages are refunded.

RankPill reviews

RankPill's site claims "4.8/5 from 4,319+ customers" without a source. On Trustpilot on 18 October 2026 it scored 2.8 from 30 reviews: eleven 5-star, two 4-star, one 2-star and sixteen 1-star.

  • September 2026 (1-star): a subscriber says only one article was published in the first days and their backlink balance stayed at zero.
  • July 2026 (1-star): a user says a refund for an unused $99 renewal was refused, as the policy allows.
  • Most other 1-star reviews, January to May 2026, are about trial charges, billing or refunds.

Swap or pay: what sites ask, by DR

Outside an exchange, DR decides whether a site will swap at all. Sites that answered a MentionAgent pitch between 4 June and 18 October 2026 by naming a price or agreeing a two-way swap:

DR of the siteTook a swapNamed a price
Under 2045%55%
20 to 3930%70%
40 to 5912%88%
60 and up7%93%

Above DR 40, few sites swapped. On RankPill's rule, 30 credits buy one DR 30 link or two DR 15 links.

Method: MentionAgent production records, link-building workspaces only. Each domain counts once; a site that did both counts as a swap. DR is the Ahrefs Domain Rating on file.

1. MentionAgent: links not priced in credits

MentionAgent searches for blog posts on your topic and emails each site's owner a pitch about that post from a warmed inbox on a domain it sets up for you. From $99/mo with a 14-day full refund; credits pay for AI drafts, not links. The catch: it doesn't write your blog posts, and each link depends on a reply. See the outreach agent.

2. Distribb or Arvow: articles plus an exchange

Both bundle AI articles with a swap network: see our Distribb and Arvow reviews.

Links without a credit meter

MentionAgent finds blogs in your niche, emails the person who runs each one and brings their reply to you. From $99/mo, no per-link fees.
