Otterly AI Review: Pricing, Add-Ons and What It Does

Updated 30 October 2026 · Generative Engine Optimization · By Matt

Otterly (OtterlyAI) runs your prompts through ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot every day and shows how often your brand and your pages come up. It launched in October 2024, founded by Thomas Peham, Josef Trauner and Klaus-M. Schremser. Every price below was checked on Otterly's own site on 30 October 2026.

Verdict

Otterly has a low way in: Lite is $29 a month for 15 prompts tracked daily on four engines. Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode are extra, and on Lite, Claude alone costs as much as the plan.

What Otterly does

  • Brand and citation tracking: visibility, sentiment, share of voice and the pages each engine cites, for unlimited brands and competitors.
  • Recommendations and audits: GEO, crawlability and content audits of your pages, with suggested changes.
  • Research tools: AI prompt research and a query fan-out tool.
  • Agencies: separate client workspaces, and pitch workspaces to audit prospects before they sign.

Otterly says 40,000 marketing professionals were using it as of August 2026.

Tracking vs earning mentions

Otterly shows which pages AI engines cite and what to change on your own site. We found no feature on its site for pitching other sites to mention you, so the outreach is yours to do. And read its numbers as a trend: in our ChatGPT data, of the questions where a brand was named at least once in four runs, it was named only once on 46%.

How often AI engines cite otterly.ai

Being named and being cited are different things: a citation is a link to the page the answer drew on. MentionAgent's AI visibility scans put buyer questions about AI visibility, GEO and AEO tools to ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini between 27 July and 18 October 2026. How often each engine listed a vendor's own site as a source:

EngineAnswers with sourcesotterly.aitryprofound.compeec.aiathenahq.ai
ChatGPT30 of 340200
Claude34 of 342200
Gemini33 of 3421200
All three97 of 10241600

Otterly was named in 17 of the 102 answers, and 14 of those cited no otterly.ai page. Three of the four pages that were cited are posts on Otterly's own blog, two of them about AI monitoring tools. The fourth is its page for agencies.

Method: MentionAgent production records, answers marked ok, questions matching AI visibility, GEO, AEO or LLM tracking tools, with harvest questions and MentionAgent's own sales workspace left out. "Cited" means the domain is among the answer's listed sources. 102 answers is a small sample: read it as direction.
