The 6 AirOps alternatives
1. MentionAgent
Best for: earning mentions on other sites without a managed-service contract.
- Asks ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini your buyer questions and records whether you're mentioned and which pages they cite.
- Finds blog posts in your niche and emails each site's owner a pitch about that post, from a warmed inbox on a separate domain it registers for you.
- Doesn't pay publishers, write your articles, or track Perplexity, Copilot or Google AI Overviews.
Pick it if AirOps Offsite is the part you wanted. From $99 a month with a 14-day full refund. See the outreach agent.
2. Profound

Best for: enterprise brands that need tracking across many engines, regions and personas.
- Profound lists "Up to 9 Answer Engines tracked" on Enterprise and runs prompts daily.
- Its agents draft and publish content to your CMS after an approval step.
- Brands get a free 7-day trial, then custom pricing. Agencies pay $399 a month per client workspace.
Pick it if measurement depth matters more than content volume. See our Profound review and AirOps vs Profound.
3. Writesonic

Best for: teams that want AI articles and AI visibility tracking in one tool, like AirOps.
- Writesonic calls itself "The AI Search Growth Engine". Starter is $79 a month billed annually, with "15 AI articles per month".
- Starter tracks ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.
- It says it will "draft the outreach for you" to cited listicles and threads, but that Action Center is Enterprise-only, with a 5 off-page action trial on Growth.
Pick it if you used AirOps mainly for content.
4. Scrunch

Best for: brands that want to change what AI agents read on their site (on Enterprise).
- Scrunch Core is $250 a month with a 7-day free trial. We couldn't check whether that is billed monthly or yearly.
- Core tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot. Enterprise lists 9 engines.
- On Enterprise, its Agent Experience Platform serves AI agents a version of your pages. Core includes basic content generation and one page optimization a month. No outreach.
Pick it if your problem is how AI reads your own site. See Scrunch alternatives.
5. Otterly

Best for: a small team that only needs a tracker.
- Otterly Lite is $29 a month, or $25 a month billed annually.
- Tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, with Claude, AI Mode and Gemini as paid add-ons.
- Writes content briefs. It doesn't publish or run outreach.
Pick it if price is the reason you're leaving AirOps. See Otterly alternatives.
6. Peec AI

Best for: tracking your brand against named competitors.
- Peec AI lets you "Choose 3 models" from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI on its standard plans.
- It offers a free trial and "a 15% discount for customers who choose annual billing". The plan prices load by script and we couldn't read them.
- No content publishing or outreach.
Pick it if competitor benchmarking is the job. See Peec AI alternatives.
Reasons to look elsewhere
- No price on the page. AirOps says "Our pricing is based on your task volume and specific needs."
- One engine on Solo. Solo includes "ChatGPT Insights Only".
- Claude costs more. Claude tracking is on by default only for Enterprise, and "Claude Answers use four times the standard amount".
- Mixed engine counts. AirOps' own pages say 5, 7+ and 8 engines. Its docs list 9.
Which tools AI engines name
MentionAgent's AI visibility scans put buyer questions about AI visibility, GEO and AEO tools to ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini between 27 July and 18 October 2026. Of 111 answers, the share that named each tool:
| Tool | Answers naming it (of 111) |
|---|---|
| Profound | 29 |
| Otterly | 22 |
| Peec AI | 21 |
| Scrunch | 13 |
| AirOps | 6 |
Gemini accounted for 4 of the 6 AirOps mentions. In our panel, the engines named Profound, Otterly and Peec AI far more often than AirOps.
Method: MentionAgent production records, answers marked ok, questions matching AI visibility, GEO, AEO or LLM tracking tools, generated buyer-question panel only. "Profound" matched case-sensitively, the others as words in the answer text. Writesonic wasn't counted. 111 answers is a small sample: read it as direction.
How to choose

- You wanted content at volume: Writesonic, or Profound if you're an enterprise.
- You only read the dashboard: Otterly or Peec AI.
- You care how AI agents read your site: Scrunch.
