Link Publishers Review: Marketplace Prices, Refunds and Alternatives
Link Publishers is a guest post and link insertion marketplace that also sells a done-for-you service. Everything below was checked on its own pages on 18 October 2026.
A well-reviewed pay-per-link marketplace with no subscription. The catch: refunds go to your Link Publishers wallet, not your card, and 77% of DR 15 to 29 sites asked more than its $20 entry price when pitched directly.
Price: "From $20 / link", set by each publisher; $25 credit at sign-up. Details
Reviews: 4.6 from 121 on Trustpilot. Details
Alternatives: MentionAgent, Collaborator, Adsy, Vefogix. Compare
Of the DR 15 to 29 sites that named a price in reply to MentionAgent outreach, 23% asked $20 or less, and every one of them sent the same rate-card template. The rest asked a median $150.
Link Publishers pricing
- Do It Yourself: "From $20 / link", "No subscription ยท No markups". Each publisher sets its price; the homepage gives the range as $20 to $20,000.
- Sign-up credit: "$25 in free credit when you sign up." Bonus credit can be spent on orders, never withdrawn.
- Done For You: "Custom pricing", with an account manager and monthly reports.
How ordering works
You create a project per site (one per client, for agencies), filter the catalogue by niche, DA, traffic and spam score, and order a guest post, link insertion or brand mention with your own anchor and target page. Its terms say your payment is kept by Link Publishers and "transferred to the seller upon the successful publication of the post". If a link is removed within 12 months, it first asks for it back, then replaces it, and refunds only "if no replacement is available".
Refunds go to your wallet
Its refund policy says money from rejected or unfulfilled orders is "generally credited instantly back to your Link Publishers wallet balance". Back to your card is the exception:
Wallet funds "do not expire", but its terms say it may "suspend accounts without warning if there is no activity detected within the last 90 days."
Claims that don't agree with each other
- Markups: the homepage promises "no markups"; the terms say "Commission percentage may be amended from time to time by Link Publishers at its sole discretion." The rate isn't published.
- Delivery: a "Delivery Rate" of "88% guaranteed", with nothing on the other 12%.
- Catalogue: 114,000+, 114,283 and 114,521 websites on the same page.
Link Publishers reviews
On Trustpilot on 18 October 2026 it scored 4.6 from 121 reviews, 87% of them 5 stars and 7% 1 star. Trustpilot notes that it invites customers to review.
Every placement is still a paid link. Google's spam policies list "Exchanging money for links, or posts that contain links" as link spam unless the link carries rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow".
What DR 15-29 sites ask when you go direct
Link Publishers' catalogue starts at "solid DR 15+ sites". MentionAgent pitches bloggers for an editorial mention, so a price in a reply is the owner's own ask. Sites at Ahrefs DR 15 to 29 that named a one-off dollar price, 4 June to 18 October 2026:
| Asked | All sites | Without the rate card |
|---|---|---|
| $20 or less | 23% | 0% |
| $50 or less | 40% | 22% |
| $100 or less | 54% | 41% |
| Median | $99.50 | $150 |
Every site at $20 or less replied with one template: listicle mentions, standard and "sensitive-topic" guest posts and insertions, from $8 or $10. Different site names, one price list.
Method: MentionAgent production records, link-building workspaces only. Each domain counts once, at the lowest one-off dofollow US-dollar price in its first priced reply, read by hand; recurring placements and non-dollar quotes are left out. DR is Ahrefs, stored when the site was found; Link Publishers shows DA, a different scale.
Link Publishers alternatives
1. MentionAgent: no price per post
MentionAgent finds blog posts on your topic and the author or site owner's email, drafts a pitch about that post and sends it from a warmed inbox on a separate domain it registers for you. You approve emails before they send, or turn on auto-send. From $99/mo with a 14-day full refund; agencies add each client site for $99 a month.
The catch: no catalogue to order from and no fixed number of links. If a site asks for money, you see its price in the reply and decide.
