Icopify Alternatives: 6 Options Compared on Price and Vetting
Icopify is a self-serve guest post marketplace with listings "from only $9.99". Publishers set their prices, buyers pay from a prepaid balance, and Icopify screens which sites may list. The usual reasons to look elsewhere are the quality of the cheapest listings, wanting someone else to pick the sites, or not wanting to buy links at all. This page compares six options on those points, checked on 27 September 2026, and tests Icopify's main quality rule, a DR 20 listing floor, against 216 prices publishers quoted to us directly.
Keep Icopify for cheap, self-chosen placements if you vet every site yourself. If you want the vetting done for you, Rhino Rank or Outreach Monks. If you want links you did not buy, run outreach.
Same model, bigger catalogue: Adsy or Collaborator.
Curated for you: Rhino Rank, from $60 a link.
No per-link price: MentionAgent, from $99/mo flat.
216 publishers quoted MentionAgent users a one-off price between 1 July and 27 September 2026. The cheapest quotes did not come from small sites, so a DR floor would not have filtered them out.
Under $25: 11 quotes, and 10 of them came from sites above DR 20.
One menu, many sites: 13 sites from DR 25 to DR 71 sent the same "standard / sensitive" price menu.
Below the floor: 26 of 210 quoting sites (12%) were DR 20 or lower.
Quick comparison
Prices and rules are what each vendor states on its own site on 27 September 2026, except Rhino Rank and Outreach Monks, whose prices we checked on 26 September 2026 for our FATJOE alternatives page. DR is the Ahrefs Domain Rating of the vendor's own domain.

How Icopify works
Icopify runs on two domains. icopify.com (DR 42) is the marketing site and blog; its FAQ link points to icopify.co (DR 71), where the platform runs. The platform states 102,434+ vetted websites, 34,236+ active publishers and 510,022+ completed tasks.
As a buyer you add funds (minimum $25, by card, PayPal or crypto), filter sites by Ahrefs metrics, category and country, and send a task. The money moves to a reserved balance and reaches the publisher only once the task is complete. Icopify says it does not influence prices: each publisher sets its own.
On refunds, Icopify asks you to settle with the publisher first. If that fails, a refund is possible when the publisher did not follow its own publication rules. If a link is deleted within 180 days, the amount goes back to your buyer balance, to spend on the platform, not to your card.
Publishers are paid every Monday, with a minimum payout of $5 and a 10% deduction that Icopify says covers PayPal fees and advertising. A $9.99 listing therefore pays the site owner about $9. That is worth holding in mind when you read the next section.
1. Adsy: the same model, a bigger catalogue
Adsy is the marketplace Icopify is most often compared with. It says it lists more than 150,000 sites, offers 20+ filters on Moz DA, Ahrefs DR and Google Analytics traffic, and shows three numbers on every publisher: completion rate, how often posts went live on the original domain at the original price, and average link lifetime.
The catch is refunds. Adsy turns every payment into non-refundable Adsy Credits, where Icopify at least credits your balance if a link disappears within 180 days. Pick Adsy for catalogue size and publisher track records; stay on Icopify if the refund route matters. Our Adsy alternatives page covers its terms in full.
2. Collaborator: listings with verified traffic
Collaborator states 40K+ websites and 3K+ Telegram channels. Its catalogue preview on 27 September 2026 showed 45,109 sites, 8,500+ with Google Analytics data and 7,000+ verified through Search Console, filterable on 70+ parameters. Each listing shows monthly traffic, traffic by country and by source, and buyer reviews before you order.
Pick it over Icopify if the cheap-listing problem is what you are leaving: traffic you can see is a better filter than a DR number. It ranks #2 for "icopify alternative" with its own comparison page.
3. PubWhizz: the one the search results keep suggesting
PubWhizz is a backlink marketplace that states 35,000+ sites and "no cold emails, no negotiations". Two of the ten page-one results for "icopify alternatives" are articles naming PubWhizz the best alternative, one on a DR 65 article platform and one on a DR 21 tools blog.
We could not see its prices without an account, and its own domain measured DR 1.2 on 27 September 2026. Neither is disqualifying, but a marketplace whose visibility for this search comes from articles about itself is one to test with a single small order first.
4. Rhino Rank: someone else picks the sites
Rhino Rank sells from a curated inventory, so you do not browse listings at all. On 26 September 2026 its curated links started at $60 and guest posts at $75. The appeal against Icopify is exactly that you are not the one judging whether a $12 listing is a real site. Our Rhino Rank review and Rhino Rank alternatives go further.
5. Outreach Monks: a managed outreach team
Outreach Monks runs outreach on your behalf and sells the result per link, from $99 at DR20 when we checked on 26 September 2026. It suits agencies who want a white-label team rather than a catalogue. You pay more per link than Icopify's cheapest listings, and in return a person has emailed a real site owner for each one.
6. MentionAgent: earn the mention instead
MentionAgent is outreach software, not a marketplace. It finds blogs already covering your topic, qualifies each domain, finds and verifies the editor's email, writes a pitch against the specific post and sends it from a warmed inbox on a sending domain it sets up for you. You approve drafts in the dashboard or Telegram, and it handles replies through to the live link.
What it proposes is a contextual mention exchange: they mention you in a relevant post, you mention them in one of yours. Sites that ask for money are turned down, so it is not a way to buy the placements Icopify sells. The upside is that the publisher price menus described below never reach you as a bill. It costs $99/mo flat with 50 free credits to start; see MentionAgent pricing.
What a DR 20 floor actually filters
Icopify's main quality gate for publishers is a list of minimums: Ahrefs DR over 20, Moz DA over 20 with a spam score under 20%, 500+ monthly visitors, 100+ pages indexed by Google, a domain at least six months old, and no private blog networks. It is a sensible list. The question is whether it catches the placements buyers regret.
We can test the DR part against our own data. MentionAgent emails site owners asking for an editorial mention, and many reply with a price instead. Between 1 July and 27 September 2026, 216 publishers quoted a one-off price in US dollars, and we had a DR on file for 210 of them.
| Group | Sites | Median first quote | Quotes under $50 |
|---|---|---|---|
| DR 20 or lower (would fail Icopify's floor) | 26 | $135 | 1 |
| Above DR 20 (would pass it) | 184 | $150 | 27 |
The sites under the floor were not the cheap ones. Only one of the 26 asked under $50. The bargain prices came from above the line: of the 11 quotes under $25, 10 were from sites above DR 20, including an $8 link insertion on a DR 26 site, $10 posts on DR 46 and DR 71 sites, and $20 link insertions on DR 58 and DR 64 sites.
The clearest pattern was a price menu. 13 different sites, from DR 25 to DR 71, replied with the same structure: a "standard" and a "sensitive" price for guest posts and for link insertions, with first prices from $8 to $100. Thirteen unrelated site owners do not arrive at identical menus independently. That is what one seller managing many sites looks like, and every one of those sites clears a DR 20 floor.
None of this means Icopify lists these particular sites; we did not check its catalogue, which needs an account. It means a DR minimum filters out small sites, and the placements buyers regret mostly come from sites with enough links to pass it. The traffic, index and PBN rules do more work than the DR rule, and the checks in the vetting section below do more still.
Method: first US dollar figure per reply, one row per publisher, quotes in other currencies and for monthly or yearly terms excluded. DR is the Ahrefs Domain Rating MentionAgent stored when it found the site. A quote is an asking price, not a completed purchase.
How to vet a cheap listing, on any marketplace
- Open the category page, not the home page. If the last 20 posts are all sponsored articles pointing at unrelated businesses, the site exists to sell links.
- Count outbound links in a recent post. A page linking out to a dozen commercial sites passes little to any of them.
- Check the traffic trend, not the DR. A DR 50 site whose traffic halved this year is a worse buy than a steady DR 25.
- Search the site's contact email. If the same address or price menu turns up across many sites, you are buying from a network.
- Order one placement before ten. Refund terms on marketplaces are narrow, so the first order is your cheapest test.
The longer version of this checklist is in our guide to relevant backlinks, and the risks of paying at all are in buying backlinks.
Reading other "Icopify alternatives" lists
Several lists of Icopify alternatives are written by the alternatives. When we checked the first page of results for this search on 27 September 2026, Collaborator and an agency each compared themselves with Icopify, and two articles on other sites named PubWhizz the best option. Before trusting a list, check who wrote it and whether its prices carry a date.
How to choose
- You like choosing sites and the price is right: stay on Icopify, and vet each listing with the five checks above.
- You want bigger catalogues and publisher track records: Adsy, or Collaborator for verified traffic.
- You are tired of judging listings: Rhino Rank or Outreach Monks pick the sites for you.
- You want mentions you did not pay for: run outreach yourself, by hand or with an outreach agent. Our link outreach guide covers the method.

Skip the listing, email the site
MentionAgent finds the blogs in your niche, emails the person who runs each one and brings back their reply, whether that is a yes, a no or a price. From $99/mo flat, no per-link fees.

What is the best Icopify alternative?
For the same marketplace model with a bigger catalogue, Adsy, which says it lists more than 150,000 sites. For verified traffic data on each listing, Collaborator. For a vendor that picks curated sites for you, Rhino Rank from $60 a link. For a managed outreach team, Outreach Monks from $99 a link at DR20. For earning mentions without buying them, MentionAgent from $99/mo. Checked 27 September 2026.
What are Icopify's requirements for publishers?
Icopify's FAQ, read on 27 September 2026, asks for Ahrefs DR over 20, Moz DA over 20 with a spam score under 20 percent, at least 500 visitors a month, at least 100 pages indexed by Google and a domain at least six months old. Private blog networks are not allowed. Publishers are paid weekly with a 10 percent deduction.
Does Icopify give refunds?
Partly. Icopify says a refund is possible if the publisher did not follow its own publication rules, after you first try to resolve it with the publisher. If a link is deleted within 180 days, Icopify refunds the amount to your buyer balance, to spend on the platform, rather than to your card.
Why are some Icopify listings so cheap?
Publishers set their own prices, so a listing can start at a few dollars. In our own data, 10 of the 11 publishers who quoted us under 25 dollars had a DR above 20, and 13 sites from DR 25 to DR 71 replied with the same standard and sensitive price menu, which is what one seller running many sites looks like. A DR floor does not screen that out; checking traffic, outbound links and who owns the site does.
Is icopify.com the same as icopify.co?
Yes, as far as the sites show. icopify.com is the marketing site and blog and links its FAQ to icopify.co, where the buyer and publisher platform runs. On 27 September 2026 the two domains measured Ahrefs DR 42 and DR 71.
