Nashville Travel Bloggers: 31 Sites Checked, With Domain Rating and Last Post Date (2026)
Thirty one sites, opened on 5 September 2026. Seven published in the last 90 days. Median Ahrefs DR is 17 and twelve sites sit below DR 10.
Still publishing and Nashville focused: hellohappinessblog.com and tayloronze.com, plus musiccitymagnolia.com, which is a rental company rather than a blog.
Watch the dates: the site holding position four for this search last published in March 2023.
We ran 20 Nashville travel searches, opened every site that came back, read a real Ahrefs DR for each and took the last post date from the site's own feed.
Two of the three strongest domains are not Nashville blogs: the city magazine at DR 69 and a national budget travel blog at DR 55.
Six of the 31 are businesses, a hotel, a rental manager, a tour company, a travel agency and two booking sites, dressed as blogs in the results.
Two sites answered with a bot wall. Those are reported as not checked, never as inactive.
Nashville has a tourism industry big enough that hotels, venues, tour operators and restaurants all run outreach to travel bloggers. What none of them can get from a search is the only list that matters: which of these people are actually in Nashville, which of them have written anything this year, and how strong the sites really are.
We opened them on 5 September 2026. Twenty searches for Nashville travel, itinerary, weekend guide and blogger terms, every domain collected, each site loaded, a real Ahrefs domain rating pulled for each, and the last published date read out of the site's own feed. What follows is the measured version of a list that usually gets copied.
How we checked
Twenty US searches through a live SERP API, covering the obvious phrasings and the ones that surface people rather than tourist boards. We removed social profiles, influencer marketplaces, hotel booking aggregators and national magazines with no author, then opened everything left standing.
For each site we recorded the HTTP status, the publishing platform, whether the page exposes a contact or collaboration link, how many times it says Nashville, Music City or Tennessee, the domain rating, and the most recent post its feed reports. Two sites answered our request with a bot wall rather than a page. Those are marked not checked. A blocked site tells you about its firewall and nothing about whether the author is writing.
One number needs a caveat before you read the table: a site with no feed is not a site with no posts. Squarespace and Wix sites often expose nothing machine readable, so six rows below show no date. That is missing data, not silence.

Seven of the 31 published in the last 90 days
Counting from 7 June 2026, seven sites have posted: musiccitymagnolia.com and toripinestravels.com on 3 September, travelonthereg.com on 30 August, sojournswithsue.com on 29 August, hellohappinessblog.com on 18 August, tayloronze.com on 18 July and katievtravel.blog on 12 July.
Three of those seven write mainly about Nashville, and one of the three is a rental company rather than a person. The rest are national travel blogs that happen to have a Nashville guide ranking. If your pitch is a Nashville venue or event, that distinction is the whole game: the national blog will take it as an ad, the local writer will take it as a story.
What ranks here while dormant
Six sites in this set have not published for more than a year, and two of them hold top-ten positions for the search:
- aloprofile.com, DR 36, at position four, last post 8 March 2023. Three and a half years.
- karaandnate.com, DR 28, at position six, last post 1 July 2024. The couple moved to video, and the blog stopped.
- jeninnash.com, DR 0, last post 1 June 2021, still ranking for Nashville lifestyle blog searches.
- youmeandtennessee.com, DR 3.2, last post 14 October 2022, with 263 mentions of Nashville and Tennessee on the homepage.
- smallbagbigappetite.com, DR 0, last post 23 February 2023.
- ohhappyplay.com, DR 23, last post 26 February 2025.
A dormant site with a strong Nashville page keeps ranking for years, which is why copied lists stay wrong for years. It is also why an outreach list needs the last post date beside the domain rating rather than instead of it, the same discipline we use when we qualify a site before emailing it.
Six of the 31 are businesses, not bloggers
The search returns a hotel, a vacation rental manager, a food tour company, a travel agency, a tour booking site and a city magazine. All six run a blog section, which is why they rank, and none of them is a person you can pitch for coverage in the usual sense.
They are not useless. A rental manager or a tour company will happily swap content, and the city magazine takes press releases. But they belong in a different column of your list than a writer with an audience, and lumping them together is how a campaign ends up with a reply rate that looks broken.
What a reply from a blogger actually contains
Everyone measures reply rate. Almost nobody measures what the replies say, which is the number that tells you how much work sits after the first answer. Across 580 conversations in our own system where a person replied, here is how those replies classify:
| What the reply was | Share of replies |
|---|---|
| Counter offer, a different deal to the one asked for | 21.7% |
| Declining | 17.8% |
| General chat, no decision either way | 15.2% |
| Agreeing to the ask | 7.9% |
| Asking for more details | 6.9% |
| Interested, without committing | 6.0% |
| A price list | 4.8% |
| Confirming a link is live | 4.7% |
| Proposing their own deal | 3.8% |
| Spam or off topic | 4.6% |
Read the first row twice. The single most common reply to outreach is not yes and not no, it is a counter offer: a different post, a different link, a different month, or a rate card. Add the price lists and the proposed deals and 30 percent of all replies are somebody starting a negotiation. Plan the second email before you send the first one, and use a follow up sequence built for a conversation rather than for silence.
What bloggers ask for, when they ask for money
Of everyone who has quoted us a number, 106 publishers sent a price. The first figure in each quote has a median of 249 US dollars, a floor of 9 dollars and a ceiling of 2,900 dollars. Twenty five of the 99 quotes we could parse sit under 100 dollars, 50 sit between 100 and 499, and 24 are 500 or more.
Two of those quotes are travel specific and worth reading if you are budgeting a Nashville campaign. One site asks 150 dollars for a travel guest post, 110 for a link insertion in an existing article and 50 for each additional dofollow link. Another asks 300 dollars for a sponsored post, 500 for what it calls high demand non travel articles, and 200 to 400 for link insertions.
That is the going rate for the small end of travel publishing, and it is worth knowing before you decide whether a paid placement is better value than a hosted stay or a comped tour. Where a payment is on the table, it stops being editorial coverage: our writeup on buying backlinks covers what that actually gets you and where the risk sits.
How to pitch a Nashville travel blogger
Twenty five of the 31 sites carry a contact, work with me or collaborate link. Only one shows any contribute or guest post wording on the homepage, and that one is a national blog rather than a Nashville one. So the route in is almost always a personal email, and the email has to earn its reply on the first line.
- Offer the thing, not the coverage. A room, a tasting, two tickets, a studio tour. Travel writers are pitched constantly and the only pitch that stands out is an actual invitation with dates in it.
- Match the neighbourhood. East Nashville, 12South, Germantown and Broadway attract different writers and different readers. Naming the right one shows you read the site.
- Check the date before you write. Six sites in this set are dormant, and two of them still rank. Emailing a blog that stopped in 2023 is the most common way a Nashville campaign wastes a week.
- Expect a counter offer. It is the most likely reply. Decide in advance what you can say yes to, whether that is a different post, a longer stay or a rate you will pay.
- Write to one person. These are single author sites. Anything that reads like a mail merge gets deleted, which is the whole argument for building the list by hand.
Who should pitch this list
Hotels and short term rental operators, restaurants and bars, venues and attractions, tour operators, event promoters and Tennessee brands with a story a visitor would care about. For those, a mention on a DR 12 Nashville guide reaches somebody planning a trip, which is worth more than a stronger link on a site with no Nashville readership.
National ecommerce brands with no Nashville connection are in the wrong place. So is any campaign whose only goal is domain rating: the median here is 17, and the two strongest domains in the set are a magazine and a national blog that will treat you as an advertiser. If raw authority is the target, a topic list beats a city list, and our guide to editorial link building is the better starting point.
If you would rather this list stayed current than went stale like the ones above it in the results, that is the job MentionAgent does: find the sites, check they are alive, find the contact route, write the email and handle the follow up. You can also compare the tooling in our roundup of blogger outreach tools, or see the same method applied to a different city in our Las Vegas mom bloggers list.
Frequently asked questions
Which Nashville travel bloggers are still publishing in 2026?
Seven of the 31 sites we opened on 5 September 2026 had published in the previous 90 days: musiccitymagnolia.com and toripinestravels.com on 3 September, travelonthereg.com on 30 August, sojournswithsue.com on 29 August, hellohappinessblog.com on 18 August, tayloronze.com on 18 July and katievtravel.blog on 12 July. Of those, three write mainly about Nashville.
What domain rating do Nashville travel blogs have?
Median Ahrefs DR is 17 across the 31 sites we checked. Twelve sit below DR 10. The two strongest are not Nashville blogs at all: Nashville Lifestyles, the city magazine, at DR 69, and Practical Wanderlust, a national budget travel blog, at DR 55. The strongest site that is genuinely a Nashville blog is sparrowsandlily.com at DR 40.
Do Nashville travel bloggers accept guest posts?
Only one of the 31 sites shows any contribute or guest post wording on its homepage, and it is Practical Wanderlust, a national travel blog rather than a Nashville one. Every genuine Nashville site in this set works the same way: a contact or work-with-me link, and a personal email about a specific trip, venue or event.
How much do travel bloggers charge for a post?
In our own inbox, 106 publishers have replied with a price list. The first price quoted has a median of 249 US dollars and runs from 9 dollars to 2,900 dollars. Two of the quotes are travel specific: one site asks 150 dollars for a travel guest post and 110 for a link insertion, another asks 300 dollars for a sponsored post and 200 to 400 for a link insertion.
What does a reply from a blogger usually say?
Across 580 conversations where someone replied to us, 21.7 percent counter offered, 17.8 percent declined, 15.2 percent were general chat, 7.9 percent agreed outright and 4.8 percent sent a price list. Only 4.7 percent were a confirmed live link at the point of reply. A reply is the start of a negotiation far more often than it is a yes.
Why do so many of these sites have no last post date?
Six of the 31 expose no RSS feed or JSON endpoint we could read, and most of those run Squarespace or Wix, which often publish nothing machine readable. We report those as no feed exposed rather than guessing. Two more answered our request with a bot wall and are marked not checked for the same reason.
