UK Linkology Alternatives: 7 Options Compared on Price per Link
UK Linkology is a Derby-based link building service that prices links by its own M-Flux site score, from £150 a link with the article included, and lets you approve each site before it goes live. Below are seven alternatives, each checked on the vendor’s own site on 1 October 2026.
Same UK model, priced in pounds, with a lifetime guarantee: Click Intelligence, from £80 at DR 30+. Cheaper managed links: Rhino Rank, from $60. No price per link at all: MentionAgent, an agent that pitches blogs for $99/mo.
UK Linkology entry price: £150 a link at M-Flux 30-39, content and site approval included.
Its guarantee: a first order of up to 10 links is refundable, and lost links are replaced free within 12 months.
Nine publishers who replied to MentionAgent outreach quoted in pounds between August and September 2026. Their lowest asks ran from £30 to £400, with a median of £150, the same as UK Linkology’s entry tier.

1. MentionAgent: an agent that asks instead of buying
Best for: UK and international businesses that would rather pay one monthly fee than £150 or more for each link.
Where UK Linkology finds a site and pays it, MentionAgent finds blog posts that already cover your topic and asks the person who runs each one for a mention. It checks the domain, finds and verifies the editor’s email, writes a pitch about that specific post and sends it from a warmed inbox on a sending domain set up for you. The usual offer is a contextual mention exchange, a mention in one of your posts in return. Drafts and replies wait for your approval in the dashboard, in Telegram, or in Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP agent.
- Price: from $99/mo for one sending inbox, up to $629 for eight, with no per-link fees. Signing up gives 50 free credits, enough to research and draft 25 prospects.
- When a site asks for money: you decide whether the agent asks for their terms, says you are open to paying, or declines. The agent never agrees a price itself.
- The catch: every link depends on a blogger saying yes, so you cannot order ten links of a set score for a set month the way you can with UK Linkology.
Pick it if the price per link is why you are looking. See MentionAgent pricing or how the outreach agent works.
2. Click Intelligence: UK blogger outreach in pounds
Best for: UK buyers who want the same managed model, priced in pounds and ordered by DR rather than a house score.
- Price (1 Oct 2026): blogger outreach without site approval at £80 (DR 30+), £126 (DR 40+, marked down from £180), £280 (DR 50+), £360 (DR 60+) and £460 (DR 70+), with a 500-word article included. Prices drop slightly from 25 links.
- Guarantee: a lifetime link guarantee on every tier; delivery in 14 days.
- Against UK Linkology: the listed prices are for links without site approval, which UK Linkology includes in its price. A pre-approval option is offered separately.
Pick it if you want a UK vendor, a DR-based price list and a lifetime guarantee in writing.
3. FATJOE: DR bands from a UK vendor
Best for: buyers who want lower-DR links cheaply, or a lifetime guarantee on higher ones.
- Price (1 Oct 2026): blogger outreach at $81 (DR 10+), $108 (DR 20+), $135 (DR 30+), $243 (DR 40+), $378 (DR 50+) and $513 (DR 60+). Its pricing switches between GBP and USD.
- Guarantees: a lifetime link guarantee and a money-back guarantee are stated; delivery from 14 days.
- Where it is: its listed address is in Staffordshire, England.
Pick it if you want DR 10+ or 20+ links, which UK Linkology does not list. More on our FATJOE alternatives page.
4. Rhino Rank: managed links from $60
Best for: keeping the hands-off model for well under UK Linkology’s £150 entry tier.
- Price (1 Oct 2026): curated in-content links from $60, guest posts from $75, listicle placements from $135.
- Guarantee: 12-month replacement cover on every delivered link, and your first order, on any service, is refundable for any reason up to $550.
- Method: links built through outreach, with no PBNs stated.
Pick it if you want the same 12-month cover for less. Its limits are on our Rhino Rank alternatives page.
5. Authority Builders: a traffic floor, no refunds
Best for: buyers who care more about a site’s real visitors than its score.
- Price (1 Oct 2026): link insertions at $177 (DR 20+), $197 (DR 45+) and $297 (DR 60+) a link on a 10-link order; high-authority links at $300 (Silver) and $450 (Gold).
- Guarantee: its insertion page states that linking domains have at least 1,000 monthly visits (Ahrefs).
- Watch out: its terms of service say all purchases are final.
Pick it if a traffic floor matters more to you than a refund. Full prices and terms in our Authority Builders review.
6. The HOTH: managed guest posts by DA or DR
Best for: buyers who want to order by authority score from a long-running vendor.
- Price (1 Oct 2026): Link Outreach guest posts at $150 (DR 20+), $225 (DR 30+), $345 (DR 40+) and $405 (DR 50+).
- Guarantee: broken links fixed or replaced for 6 months, or a year on a contract or HOTH X subscription.
- Timing: its FAQ puts turnaround at about 30 days.
Pick it if you want DR-based ordering with a six-month replacement window. See our HOTH alternatives page.
7. Loganix: guest posts with guaranteed placement
Best for: buyers who want a guest post on a site with stated minimum traffic.
- Price (1 Oct 2026): guest posts from $200 on sites with 500+ monthly visits; “Authority Links” from $400 on sites averaging DR or DA 40+ with at least 1,000 monthly organic visits.
- Guarantee: placement is stated as guaranteed, with about three weeks’ turnaround.
Pick it if a traffic minimum is your main filter. See our Loganix alternatives page.
Why people switch from UK Linkology
- Every link is a paid placement. Google’s spam policies count buying links for ranking purposes as link spam unless the link carries a nofollow or sponsored attribute, however carefully the site was screened.
- The tiers use a house score. Custom links are priced by M-Flux, UK Linkology’s own formula, so a £150 tier is hard to set against another vendor’s DR bands. Its page also offers Moz DA as the other link type.
- It is slower than some rivals. Its FAQ puts the average at about four weeks, with the first link within a week or so. Click Intelligence and FATJOE both state 14 days.
- The entry price is higher. £150 is the floor for a custom link, against £80 at Click Intelligence and $60 at Rhino Rank.
In UK Linkology’s favour: approving each site and the article is part of the price, it places one client link per article, it gives you a UK-based account manager, and it pairs a first-order refund with 12-month replacements. Its FAQ says around 96% of links stay live permanently.
What publishers quote in pounds
MentionAgent emails bloggers to ask for an editorial mention, not a paid post, so when a reply names a price, it is the publisher’s own opening ask. Between 19 August and 30 September 2026, nine replying domains named a one-off price in pounds. Each one counts once, at the lowest figure in its reply:
| DR of the replying site | Lowest one-off ask | What else the reply said |
|---|---|---|
| 70 | £30 + VAT | £30 or $45 outside the UK |
| 71 | £30 + VAT | £30 or $45 outside the UK |
| 46 | £75 | Publishing fee; £35 more to write the article |
| 33 | £75 | Or £125 |
| 46 | £150 | For one or two articles, then £30 per article |
| 43 | £195 | - |
| 57 | £200 | For a link insertion; £300 for a guest post, £600+ if the publisher writes it |
| 42 | £295 | For adding a link; sponsored posts £395 to £495 |
| 72 | £400 | - |
The median is £150, UK Linkology’s entry price, and four of the nine asked for less. Nine replies is a small sample, so read it as a direction rather than a rate card. It also flatters the publishers: several of the lower asks exclude the article, and none includes finding the site, which UK Linkology’s price covers. What it does show is that DR barely predicted the ask: the two cheapest quotes came from DR 70 and 71 sites. Dollar prices across a larger set are on how much backlinks cost.
Method: MentionAgent’s production records. Replies classified as a paid offer whose quoted price was in pounds; one monthly price (£450 + VAT a month) is left out. DR is the Ahrefs Domain Rating stored when the domain was prospected.

What is the best UK Linkology alternative?
For the same UK-based, managed model priced in pounds, Click Intelligence, from £80 a link at DR 30+ with a lifetime link guarantee. For cheaper managed links, Rhino Rank, from $60, first order refundable. For no per-link price, MentionAgent from $99/mo, an AI agent that pitches blogs for editorial mentions. All checked on 1 October 2026.
How much does UK Linkology cost?
On 1 October 2026 UK Linkology’s custom link building page listed links from £150 at an M-Flux score of 30-39, £275 at 40-49 and £375 at 50 and above, with content and approval of each site included. M-Flux is UK Linkology’s own site score, so the tiers do not map directly onto DR.
Does UK Linkology offer refunds?
Yes, on a first order. Its packages page offers a 100% refund on a first order of up to 10 links if it does not meet your expectations, with the links removed. Its FAQ also says lost links are replaced free within 12 months.
Is it cheaper to pay the publisher directly?
Sometimes. Nine publishers quoted MentionAgent a one-off price in pounds between August and September 2026; their lowest asks ran from £30 to £400, with a median of £150. A direct quote does not always include the article, finding the site or chasing the link, which UK Linkology’s price covers.
Are UK Linkology links paid links?
Yes. You pay per link and the publisher is part of what you pay for. Google’s spam policies count buying links for ranking purposes as link spam unless the link is marked nofollow or sponsored, so the risk applies however well the site is screened.
