Beauty Write For Us
We searched the contributor footprint across six beauty phrasings, opened all 97 candidate pages, and 64 were live and genuinely inviting contributions.
22 of those sit at Open PageRank 2 or higher, which is the floor our master list uses. A hand review dropped 5 more for publishing something other than beauty.
The list below is 17 sites. Each one was reachable, asking for guest posts, and about beauty, skincare, hair or cosmetics on the day we checked.
3 sites were dropped for selling placements rather than accepting pitches. Those are advertising, and they are priced as such.
Across our own outreach from 7 March to 27 August 2026, 984 replies have a classified response type. Beauty editors behave like the rest of them.
193 of 984 replies, 19.6%, were a price rather than a yes or a no. That is 151 counter-offers plus 42 outright paid offers.
141 (14.3%) declined outright and 184 were spam or off-topic. Only 24 (2.4%) confirmed a live link.
A submission page that invites pitches is not a promise of a free placement. Roughly one reply in five opens a negotiation about money.
Our own campaigns across 25 workspaces, deduplicated on the provider message id. Not a market benchmark.
Beauty has the deepest pool of contributor pages of any vertical we have crawled, and it is also the one where the most doors are shut by bot protection rather than by editorial policy. Nineteen of the ninety-seven candidates answered our request with a challenge page instead of content, which is a different problem from a site that has stopped taking guest posts.
How this list was built
We do not publish a site because someone else published it. Every row here started as a search result and ended as a page we fetched ourselves.
The footprint search ran four phrasings against six beauty terms: beauty, skincare, makeup, hair care, cosmetics and nails. That produced 97 candidate domains after stripping publishing platforms, press wires and competitor listicles, which match the same search every time and belong on none of these lists.
Each candidate page was then fetched and read. 64 passed, meaning the page loaded and contained language actually inviting contributions rather than merely mentioning the phrase. The 33 that failed break down as 19 blocked by bot protection, 5 off-topic, 4 unreachable, 3 selling placements and 2 that say outright they have closed submissions.
A blocked page is recorded as blocked, never as dead. We could not read it, which is not the same as knowing it is gone.

Open PageRank is a public authority score on a logarithmic scale, so the gap between 2.0 and 3.0 is much larger than it looks. We publish it because it is checkable by anyone, not because it predicts whether a placement will earn traffic. On that question we would rather you judged a site by whether its readers are yours.
What the rejected sites tell you
The three sites we dropped for selling placements are worth describing, because they did not look different from the others in a search result. Each one carried a live contributor page, and each one named a fee on it.
That is a legitimate business and we are not calling it a scam. It is simply a different transaction: you are buying advertising, which Google expects to be marked as such. If you buy it and do not mark it, the risk sits with your site rather than theirs.
The five off-topic drops are a subtler trap. All five were real publications with real contributor pages, and all five ranked for a beauty phrase while publishing something else. An exam results site and an adult-adjacent domain both surfaced on the word "beauty" alone. This is the failure mode a guest posting service is supposed to filter for you, and the reason we publish the reject counts rather than only the survivors.
What to send a beauty editor
Beauty guidelines are unusually specific about two things, and both appear on most of the pages above: original photography, and a ban on affiliate links in the body copy. Ignore either and the pitch fails before anyone reads the idea.
Pitch a piece you could only write. Product roundups are the single most common submission these editors receive and the single most common rejection, because every brand sends them. The same pattern holds one vertical over in fitness. A process, a mistake you made, or a result you measured is rarer and lands better.
Our guest post pitch template covers the structure, and the subject line guide covers the part that decides whether it is opened at all.
What the authority column hides
Every list like this one leads with an authority number, because it is the only attribute that fits in a table cell. It is also the attribute least connected to whether a placement does anything for you.
Two beauty sites at an identical score can behave nothing alike. One has a mailing list, an active comment section and readers arriving directly. The other ranks for a handful of long-tail phrases and has no audience beyond search. A score column cannot separate them, and neither can any tool that sells you one.
The check that works takes two minutes, and no outreach tool will do it for you. Open the five most recent posts and look at the dates. Look for a byline belonging to a person rather than an admin account. Look for any sign a reader has ever been on the page. A beauty blog publishing weekly with named authors is worth more at 2.2 than a dormant one at 3.5.
We have set this argument out in full in relevant backlinks. It is also why we sort this table by score while recommending you do not read it that way.
How fast this list will go out of date
We can put a number on this because we have measured it on our own pages. When we last rebuilt our niche guest-posting lists, 29 of 101 previously published domains failed re-verification after 11 days.
Eleven days, not eleven months. Those domains had been live on our own site as working opportunities, and inside two weeks the submission page had gone, started charging, or stopped inviting contributions without saying so.
That makes the date at the top of this page the most important thing on it. A beauty list carrying no date is a snapshot of an unknown moment, and a meaningful share of it is wrong before you read it.
The habit that follows is simple enough: open the submission page before you write the article rather than after. Checking costs thirty seconds. Not checking costs a finished piece nobody asked for.
How many of these to pitch at once
Seventeen sites is a small enough number that the instinct is to email all of them today. That instinct is worth resisting, and not for a reason about etiquette.
The same article cannot be sent to seventeen beauty editors, because every one of these pages asks for original work and several ask for exclusivity in writing. So a batch send means either seventeen articles, which nobody writes, or one article sent seventeen times, which is the thing they are all filtering for.
The version that works is to pick the four or five whose readers overlap yours, read what each has published recently, and send four or five genuinely different pitches. That is a morning of work rather than ten minutes, and it converts at a rate that makes the arithmetic favourable.
There is also a sequencing benefit. A rejection from the first editor usually tells you something about the framing, and applying that before the next three costs nothing. Sending everything at once throws that information away.
Frequently asked questions
Do these beauty sites accept guest posts for free?
The 17 listed here invite pitches without naming a fee on their submission page. That is not a guarantee: three sites we checked did name a price and were removed from the list for it, and across our own outreach 19.6 percent of replies were a counter-offer or a paid offer. Expect some of these to quote you a number once you write in.
How recently was this beauty list checked?
Every submission page was fetched on 27 August 2026. This matters more than it sounds. On a previous rebuild of our niche guest-posting pages, 29 of 101 previously published domains no longer verified after 11 days, because the page had gone, started charging, or stopped inviting contributions.
Why are some well-known beauty magazines missing?
Because they do not take contributions, or because their page blocked our crawler. Nineteen beauty candidates answered with a bot challenge rather than content. We record those as blocked rather than dead, and they are excluded from the list because we could not read the page ourselves.
What Open PageRank should a beauty site have before I pitch it?
We cut the list at 2.0 to match our master list, but treat the number as a filter and not a ranking. A smaller beauty blog whose readers actually buy is worth more than a higher-scored general site that will bury the post. Judge the audience first and the score second.
Is a beauty guest post still worth writing in 2026?
It is worth writing when the placement brings readers, and much less so when it exists only to carry a link. Of 984 classified replies to our own outreach, only 24 ended in a confirmed link, so the hit rate on cold pitching is low. The pieces that work are the ones an editor would have commissioned anyway.
