Insurance Write For Us
Twelve insurance phrasings across four contributor footprints produced 136 candidate submission pages and 61 verified as live invitations.
34 clear Open PageRank 2. A hand review removed 25 that were health, automotive or general news sites with an insurance category, leaving 9.
37 of the 136 were blocked by bot protection and 26 were off-topic. Between them they account for nearly half the pool.
The first six phrasings were not enough. Six more, added after the first pass came back thin, produced four of the nine sites published here.
This page cuts at Open PageRank 2, so it is worth being honest about what that column does not contain. Across our own prospect pool of 29,842 domains, the score is frequently absent altogether.
5,224 of 29,842 domains, 17.5%, carry no authority score at all. Not a low one. None.
A missing score is missing data, and treating it as a zero throws away working publishers for the crime of being small or new.
That is why the floor on this page is a filter rather than a ranking, and why every row was also read by hand. Nine sites is few enough to judge on what they publish instead.
Counted from our production prospect table on 2 September 2026, across every workspace. Our own pool, not a market estimate.
Insurance produced the widest gap in this batch between how many pages carry the phrase and how many are written by insurance publishers. The first six phrasings returned a pool that was two thirds consumer health and automotive content, so we ran six more, and write for us insurance still resolves to nine sites we would send anyone to.
How this list was built
Four contributor footprints were run against twelve phrasings: insurance, life, health, auto, car, home, business and renters insurance, plus insurance agency, insurance broker, insurance claims and insurtech. After publishing platforms, press wires and competitor roundups were stripped out that left 136 candidate domains.
Each one was fetched and read, and 61 passed. A page passes only when it is actually asking for contributions rather than describing guest posting as a subject.
The 75 failures were 37 blocked by bot protection, 26 off-topic, 6 selling placements and 6 unreachable.
Thirty-four of the sixty-one cleared Open PageRank 2, and that is where most of the work happened. Reading each page removed consumer health blogs, car buying guides, general news sites, a stuttering charity and a brand holding company, leaving 9.
Insurance sites accepting guest posts
Nine publishers, ordered by Open PageRank, with the submission path linked on each. Two of the nine are broader than insurance and are included because insurance is a standing section rather than a keyword on their guest post page.

The spread is wider than nine rows suggests. There is a healthcare policy blog, a fintech title, a B2B newsletter publisher, two consumer insurance blogs and a set of smaller sites covering home and personal lines. Almost none of them want a general finance article with the word insurance in it.
Why two thirds of the pool was health and automotive
Insurance is a category attached to other subjects far more often than it is a subject of its own. A consumer health blog runs a health insurance page. A car blog runs an auto insurance page. Both use the phrase, both invite contributions, and neither has an insurance readership.
That is the pattern behind 26 off-topic rejections and most of the 25 hand drops. The page is real and the invitation is real, so a list assembled from search results without opening them will read as a list of insurance publishers while being a list of health blogs.
The practical consequence is that a piece pitched at those sites has to be a health piece or a car piece with an insurance angle, not the reverse. If that is the piece you have, the health guest posting and automotive lists are much larger than this one.
What to send an insurance editor
Insurance editors are cautious for a reason. Anything that reads as advice about coverage carries regulatory weight in most markets, and a publisher who has been burned once will read every pitch with that in mind. A piece that explains how a claim is assessed will pass where a piece that tells readers which policy to buy will not.
Name the market. Policy rules, brokerage regulation and claims process differ by state and by country, and an article silent about where it applies is unusable to an editor who has to stand behind it. The same discipline pays off in finance guest posting, where the compliance instinct is identical.
Keep the quote engine out of it. Several of these publishers state that product and comparison pitches belong in advertising. If the goal is a link, the article has to earn its place first, which is the premise of editorial link building, and our pitch template covers the email around it.
A regulated vertical reads a pitch differently
Insurance publishers carry a liability that outdoor and design publishers do not. An article that gives coverage advice can put the site in front of a regulator, so the editor is not only asking whether the piece is good, they are asking whether they can defend having run it.
That changes what a strong pitch looks like. Credentials matter more here than anywhere else in this family, and a named author with a role at a broker or carrier will be read ahead of a marketing byline every time. If nobody on your side has that, the piece should be reporting rather than advice.
It also changes the timeline. Two weeks between acceptance and publication is normal, and chasing at day four reads as a sender who does not understand the vertical. Our guidance on follow-up emails applies with the intervals stretched.
Nine sites, and where the adjacent audience sits
Nine publishers is a starting point and not a campaign, and widening the search is not the fix: we already did that, and the second pass returned four usable sites out of 61 fresh candidates.
The larger pools are next door. Insurance readers overlap almost entirely with finance and substantially with health, and a piece about claims or risk will be read on either. The master list carries publishers who file insurance under both.
Past guest posts, this is a vertical where original data travels unusually well. A broker who publishes its own claim timing numbers gets cited by writers who would never have answered a pitch, which is the ordinary mechanic covered in how to build backlinks.
How this list will change
The consumer insurance blogs in the table turn over quickly. They are often one person writing around a comparison affiliate business, and when the affiliate revenue moves the blog stops, leaving the submission page up because nobody takes those down.
We re-run the crawl rather than editing rows, so a site that stops answering falls out on its own. The two broader publishers here are the ones most likely to still be commissioning next year, and the smaller ones are the ones worth checking before you write.
The check takes two minutes and beats any score. Open the site, read the five most recent posts, and look for a named author and a date from this quarter. We set the argument out in full in relevant backlinks.
Frequently asked questions
How many insurance sites accept guest posts?
We fetched 136 candidate submission pages across twelve phrasings and 61 were live and genuinely inviting contributions. Thirty-four of those clear our Open PageRank 2 floor, and nine survived a hand review for being insurance publications rather than health blogs, car sites or general news. Those nine are the list on this page.
Why is the insurance list so short?
Because insurance is usually a category on somebody else's site rather than a subject of its own. Twenty-six of the 136 candidates were off-topic and a further 25 were dropped by hand for the same reason: a consumer health blog with a health insurance page, or a car blog with an auto insurance page, uses the phrase without having an insurance readership.
Did widening the search help?
Yes, and it is the reason this page exists. The first six phrasings produced a pool too thin to publish. Six more, insurtech and the personal lines among them, added 61 fresh candidates and four of the nine published sites. When a vertical comes back thin, the term count is usually the constraint rather than the market.
Do insurance sites charge for guest posts?
Six of the 136 candidates named a price on the page and were excluded for it. A paid placement is advertising rather than a contribution, Google expects paid links to carry the sponsored attribute, and the risk of not marking them sits with your site rather than with the publisher.
Is insurance write for us a different search from write for us insurance?
Google ranks a different page one for each phrasing, so a small publisher can be visible on one and absent from the other. The crawl behind this page was run against the contributor footprint rather than against either phrasing, which is why the same nine sites answer both.
How current is this insurance list?
Every submission page was fetched on 2 September 2026. That date is the point of the page: on an earlier rebuild of our niche guest-posting lists, 29 of 101 previously published domains failed re-verification after 11 days. Open the page yourself before you write anything.
